No.18 Gallery specialises in limited edition prints and cards by a selection of artists who are influenced and inspired by East Yorkshire's fascinating landscape and beautiful coastline. MIRANDA WATSON - Images of the Yorkshire Wolds Originally from the East Riding, Miranda now lives in London and has spent a number of years producing paintings using mixed medium having painted since childhood. She builds her paintings by overlaying acrylics, oils, inks, bleach, salt, crayons and pastels as well as adding layers with collage and found materials. Miranda was artist in residence at Burton Agnes Hall, an Elizabethan country house near Driffield in East Yorkshire from 2002-2006. It was from here that she became inspired to produce her Wolds and coastal images that include Filey, North Landing Flamborough and especially the Yorkshire Wolds. JOHN SIBSON - Prints of the North Yorkshire Coast & the Dales John is a self-publishing artist working from his studio near Appleby in Cumbria. He produces limited editions from his original paintings being inspired by many things but particularly the north east coastline and the Yorkshire Dales. The signed & numbered images are available as giclee prints where the inks used are light fast. They are presented mounted in an off-white acid-free board and cellophane wrapped.

JAMES WHEELER - Atmospheric Prints of the Yorkshire Landscape James who lives in West Yorkshire was born in Glasgow & studied at the Glasgow School of Art. He trained as a carpet designer before moving to England to work as Design Studio Manager at one of the UK's leading carpet manufacturers. Painting primarily in oils on cork, James is inspired by the Yorkshire Moors, the Pennines and the Lake District. The prints are produced using the finest Giclee printing technology and are presented mounted and wrapped ready for framing. All images are produced using archival inks on watercolour paper and are signed & numbered by the artist. They are presented in an off-white acid-free mount and cellophane wrapped.

EMMA BALL - Limited Edition Prints of the Yorkshire coast & the Wolds Emma is from Nottingham and produces a range of prints and cards for most areas of the UK. There are several with a Yorkshire theme shown below as well as 'Yorkshire in a Box' , a box of 10 different images as cards depicting parts of the county including the Yorkshire Wolds and the ever popular 'Coastal Calendar'.

Notecards IAN MITCHELL - Limited Edition Prints of the Yorkshire coast & the Wolds Ian lives on the East/North Yorkshire border near Driffield. His 'Linescapes' of the Wolds and the Yorkshire coastline that are reminiscent of the 1930's travel posters are produced working from his original sketches and photographs. The lines are reduced to a minimum to create a very simplified image. Each image, limited to an edition of 250 is 420mm x 297mm and is presented cellophane wrapped in an acid-free off-white mount. Ian uses archival paper and the inks are light fast to prevent fading. Mounted Price £65
PENNY McLEAN - Limited Edition Prints of the Yorkshire Wolds Penny who lives and paints in a village near Driffield studied at Edinburgh College of Art in the 60's, after which she spent a year at Manchester College of Art. She has taught art full time whilst developing her own work. As well as mixed exhibitions in galleries in both Yorkshire & Lincolnshire Penny has been Artist in Residence for two consecutive years at Burton Agnes Hall between Driffield & Bridlington.
